Laws students need to become analytical independent
learners. The
methods of learning you used for GCSE's need to
change. Over the first year of study
we will introduce you to some of
the skills needed to succeed academically.
I list
below a few ...
(1) The Buzan method of
note taking.
(2) The value of, and use of, regular read and
precis.
(3) How to plan, write, and answer, essay
questions.
(4) How to present your facts and
arguments.
(5) The need for a program of ongoing revision
(start today).
The Buzan method programs your brain
for learning and revision. A major key to learning, is for your brain
to be receptive to learning. The key to this is simple - enjoy a
breakfast. Breakfast is fuel for
your brain. It also improves concentration (see attached
articles). It also helps teens keep slim. For further advice, on healthy living, visit the Change4life website. See also the BBC news story: Big Breakfast aids weight loss.

Laws training today!
Taking drugs, and booze (even
if its legal), only serves to confuse and weaken your brain
cells.
