A 'Laws e-Mentoring Scheme' for AS students is in place ...
The idea is that an AS student will be able to benefit from the wealth of knowledge and experience that only an A2 student possesses. They may be able to advise on how to tackle homework, how to prepare for exams etc.
An incentive for the A2 student - who participates - is that Universities look favourably on those who assume this extra responsibility, and view the student as a hardworking and keen student who welcomes responsibility and would be an ideal choice for their institution. Indeed, similar schemes are used by Universities (including Oxford!).
Naturally, if a student has a question or concern then they can still, and are welcome to, email Dr Jepson at pjepson@strodes.ac.uk or speak to their Laws Lecturer/Teacher.
The below A2 Laws students have volunteered to assist any first year students during their studies, and are happy to hear from you (even if you want just a quick chat about the subject or the Department). They undertake to endeavor to reply to your email within 24 hours.
