If the Church wants to keep up with modern society - which it is failing to do - it has to accept modern values. It seems to me that it is now an outdated institution.
This is yet another example of the blatant anti-gay agenda of the church. The whole view is based on one line in the bible which is ambiguous as it is; it is merely an excuse for the biggoted traditionalists which blight the Church. The same goes for the pro-creation obsession. Jesus taught to love your neighbour, no matter who they are. He did NOT teach to discriminate them because they were born with different sex preferences to the majority.
I laugh at the comments of Pope Benedict anyway, I refuse to listen to moral teachings from a man who used to be in the Nazi Youth.
